I played around with my new strobes, so I grabbed a lens and did a macro shoot. I pretty much have similar lighting and angle from lens maker's website(i guess), can't go wrong with that hehehe. All the white background and made by foam boards, lots of em yeah... Ignore the finger prints, hahaha. :sweat3:

there were shadows on both sides of the lense from photo 1. why the finished photo 2 lost the shadows?

oh, i put enough power to the strobes to blow off the shadows, so strobes from opposite side cancels out the shadows

in post processing, all i need to do is to add tiny bit of contrast and +EV then the shadows will be vanished.. the only shadow you can find are from the rough surface by the white foam board right below the lens mount if u you look super close

Sandwich light are very common in commercial photography, however you may want to fill in the front and the top abit, it will lower the overall contrast, however, product shots are more toward details.

and congrad with the strobe set~ :gj:
