Birding in early morning

I was hoping to see a wild owl, but I guess it wasn’t my lucky day. The snow is really thick in the park (around 8 inches, sometimes more) and I don’t think I wore the right shoes. Anyways it was mostly enjoyable and this is the first true test for my K 400mm f5.6. Many more come to the park in hope that they will see the owl as I walk out the park.

All except the first photo, are taken with K400/5.6, PP to remove CA, and USM used.

:-D Actually it is not that cold, not windy at all :) Yes I am there at 7:45am. I am thinking to go again this weekend, we will see :calm:
